Tuesday, June 12

I was really tired last night, so I decided to turn in early. I had a bath and stuff, cleaned my teeth and put on my pyjamas. I got into bed, but it was way too hot, so I took off my t-shirt and duvet. I laid back and began to think of what tomorrow might bring.
No sooner had I closed my eyes than I awoke to the sound of birds. I couldn't see for a bright light shining in my eyes, but as I sat up, it became apparent that I was no longer in my bed. I was sitting on lush, soft, green blades of grass; a square patch of it, just big enough for me to lay in. I rubbed my eyes and pushed the hair out of my face, only to notice that I was wearing a black suit with a white shirt. A black tie lay on the ground a few feet away, so I put it on and stood up. I was surrounded by fences and bushes, like a very small garden, but behind me was a shed.
Since I could not see anywhere else to go, I opted for the shed. I pushed open the dark red, woodden door and peered inside. There didn't seem to be any windows, but everything was illuminated with a strange, yellowish light. There was a typewriter on a desk and a chair lying on it's side. I took a step inside he room and closed the door behind me. I picked up the chair as a mound of dust fell to the floor. It made me sneeze.
I sat down and began to type.
"Frank will be at one-one-seven-two-nine"
I then took the yellowing paper out of the typewriter and opened the door again. I went back out to the grass and laid down. I closed my eyes for a while before sitting up again. I took off the tie and threw it into a bush. I reclined again and shut my eyes.
I didn't wake up.
